The collection contains administrative records, correspondence, newsletters, news clippings, reports, educational materials and media created by and concerning the Log Cabin Republicans (LCR). LCR promotes awareness and support of gay/lesbian concerns within the Republican party, Republican GLBT candidates, and the Republican party agenda within the gay community. In addition to records of the national organization, the collection contains administrative records for state and local Log Cabin chapters and the Liberty Education Forum, the organization's education and public outreach arm.
